Join Katie for a festive cookery course that will allow you to healthy holiday indulgence without missing on flavour. Under her careful guidance you’ll learn an array of delicious and healthy low-carb Christmas dishes, from canapes and cocktails, festive snacks, Christmas vegetable sides to dessert, to wow your family with during the holidays!
Enjoy dishes such as Vincisgrassi - baked layers of spinach “pasta” with truffled mushrooms, prosciutto and bechamel sauce and a great pastry that is both low-carb and gluten-free. Katie will give advice as to what can be prepared in advance, what can be frozen as well tips on.
Katie's husband Giancarlo has been in remission from type 2 diabetes for 8 years. Between them they have lost 5 stone and both love their life of more energy and balance - all by following a low-carb lifestyle. Katie has written 5 cookbooks on low-carb eating.
Having cooked in Italian homes and restaurants for 25 years Katie will pass on her kitchen tips as well as her knowledge of food during the course of a fun morning together. Afterwards, you will sit down to eat the feast you created with Italian wines.
