Istanbul Flavours Made Easy Cooking Class
I am absolutely delighted to be teaching a full-on flavour, hands on cookery class at La Cucina Caldesi Cooking School, on Saturday, July 11th, from 10 am to 3pm. where we will cook up a feast from my new cookery book ISTANBUL, Delicious Recipes from the Heart of the City together and then sit around the table to enjoy the fruits of our labour with a glass of wine or two. Caldesi Cookery School specialises on and passionate about authentic Italian cookery, a cuisine dear to my heart too, with our mutual love of seasonal produce. It’s an absolute honour to be invited back to teach this special and generous class, to celebrate delicious, diverse Istanbul flavours on Saturday, July 11th, from 10 am to 3pm.
The class would make a lovely foodie gift to yourself or someone who enjoys good food and learning how to make. Book your spot soon, as spaces are limited. As always, you will get plenty of tips on preparing ahead, freezing, making variations of recipes. You will be welcomed with warm Turkish hospitality, plenty of delicious Turkish food to cook and enjoy and Özlem’s stories from her homeland Türkiye. Özlem will also make everyone the fragrant Turkish coffee, talk about its rituals; it is more than a drink for Turks".
Özlem Warren is an award-winning Turkish food writer and cookery teacher. She frequently travels to teach Turkish cookery in the USA, Türkiye, UK, Europe and Jordan. Her recipes and articles are published in major newspapers and magazines including the Waitrose Food Magazine, Waitrose Weekend, delicious. magazine, Food and Travel, Olive magazine, National Geographic Traveller, The New York Times Cooking, Milk Street Magazine, VOGUE Türkiye, Hurriyet Daily News and Sabah Daily. Her debut book, Özlem’s Turkish Table, won Gourmands Best in the World award in Food Heritage in 2020.
